Highly regarded as the UK's number one camping and caravanning necessity, the Safari Chef 30 QR LP (Quick Release - Low Pressure) has you all covered for outdoor cooking. This Safari Chef features a ceramic-coated barbecue grill plate and a flat plate for even heat distribution and rapid heat-up times.
With the push-button Piezo Ignition button, you can fire it up and get cooking instantly. The temperature is easily adjusted with the simple knob so you are completely in control of the cooking. While cooking, all fats and juices are safely collected through the fat pan to prevent grease fires. Not only does this make the fat pan easy to clean, but it also allows you to have healthier meals. The Safari Chefs' flexibility is unmatched with four interchangeable cooking surfaces giving you the freedom to make various tasty meals. This versatile four-way cooking system includes the ability to grill on the non-stick grill pan, stir-fry with the lid as a wok, or saucepan, or boil on the gas burner itself!
The Safari Chef 30 QR LP is a low-pressure (LP) gas barbecue, ideal for multi-functional gas grilling on the go. It can operate from a larger refillable gas cylinder, a Cadac Power Pak, or from the gas hook up on your caravan or motorhome. This BBQ is quite different from other Safari Chef 2 LP models as it features an integrated quick-release tailpiece (QR) to make switching between power sources much easier.
For low-pressure BBQs, such as the Safari Chef 30 - it is advised to use a gas connection hose between 800mm and 1.5m long. Any longer than this and pressure is lost and performance will suffer. In windy conditions, this becomes more of an issue with the BBQ prone to blowing out.
Complete with a convenient storage bag, the BBQ is easy to store. The BBQ also features foldable legs that allow for compact storage and maximum portability. With a weight of less than 4kg, this compact and powerful cooking system is ideal for up to 2 people when caravanning, camping, or motorhoming.
Thanks to their modular system, all Cadac BBQs have many interchangeable BBQ accessories. The Safari Chef range can be identified with model number 30. This number indicates the diameter of the BBQ. All accessories will have the diameter in the product title to make identifying the correct size accessory easier (i.e. Cadac Plancha BBQ Grill Plate 30).
