Use on Caravan and Motorhome Club campsites

Roof-top tents are acceptable on all Caravan and Motorhome Club campsites on a normal pitch, where they are considered the equivalent to a trailer tent, or on a tent field when vehicle access is permitted to that space. They may also be used as ‘ancillary accommodation’ i.e. as extra sleeping space in support of a caravan or motorhome which is the primary accommodation, but only if they contain no gas-powered devices. Car tents (ground-level tents which link to a normal car) are also acceptable. Please note: size restrictions are specified on the webpages for each individual Club campsite, please visit the Caravan and Motorhome Club website for details.
